Silesian WIND and WATER Boat Show in Katowice
WIND and WATER Warsaw International Boat Show is the biggest and the oldest trade fair event in the field of water sports and recreation in Poland. The first edition took place in 1990 in Zegrze. Since 1991 the fair have been organized in early spring in Warsaw. Beginning from 2006 the WIND and WATER Fair has had its summer edition by the sea.
Now we decided to start a new edition – Silesian WIND and WATER Boat Show in Katowice.
The organizer of the WIND and WATER Boat Show is YACHT EXPO sp. z o. o. The executive organizer of the fair is Murator EXPO sp. z o. o., and its Partner – “Żagle” Monthly Magazine, which makes a great contribution in drafting the programme and in the promotion of the fair among people interested in sailing.
During the Warsaw spring edition of the fair about 350 companies offer their products – equipment and accessories for all fields of active leisure and sports connected with water: sailing, motor yachting, kayaking, snorkelling and diving. The summer edition of the WIND and WATER Boat Show in Gdynia makes it possible to assess the advantages of yachts, motorboats, kayaks, diving and windsurfing equipment and other sports equipment in their natural surrounding. It also serves the promotion of marine ideas and of the Polish sea sailing.
The 1st Silesian edition will gather around 200 exhibitors. The biggest Polish shipyards will be present at the Fair, e.g.: Galeon, Delphia Yachts, Parker Poland, Balt Yacht, Northman, Dalpol, Antila, Mariner Yacht or Eskapader. The importers of foreign brands of boats and yachts will be also present such as Power Boats Poland, Astex, M&YC, Dobre Jachty, Dedi Marine, Skyboat, Marinero, Yachts & Yachting and many others.
Apart from the expositions of the Exhibitors, the WIND and WATER Fair also features a rich programme of accompanying events – lectures, talks, meetings with watersports champions. During the fair the results of some contests related to the trade will be announced.
The WIND and WATER Boat Show provides watersports enthusiasts with practical knowledge about sports and recreation equipment available on the market, and help to develop interest in water tourism. At the same time, it is the best occasion for the trade to meet, share experience and establish new business relations.
