Yacht of the Year 2019 in Poland - nominations granted!

Traditionally, on the first day of the WIND and WATER on Water Boat Show in Gdynia, during the ceremonial evening of the Exhibitors, nominations were given in the “Polish Yacht of the Year” Competition, organized for the 9th time by the monthly "Żagle".

Since the end of the WIND and WATER Boat Show in Warsaw in March 2018, we started collecting applications for the 9th edition of our competition. Shipyards and importers submitted a total of 36 constructions, both domestic and foreign. From among them, the jury of the competition chose 3 best in each of the 6 categories. Here is the protocol of the nomination:

in the category of special sailing yachts:

in the category of motor yachts up to 9 m in length:

3. Pegazus 560 Top Fisher - submitted by the Pegazus Boats shipyard

in the category of motor yachts over 9 m in length:

3. Sealine S330v- submitted by Horyzont

in the category of special motor yachts:

1. Sun Camper 35 - submitted by the Balt Yacht shipyard

2. Northman 1200 - submitted by the Northman shipyard

3. Futura 40 - submitted by the Cobra Yachts shipyard

Furthermore, the committee states that one of the yachts reported for the competition could not be assessed according to the adopted criteria and methods, due to its unique dimensions and exclusive finishing. This yacht, due to the uniqueness and the fact that represents one of the largest and most luxurious ones ever created in Poland, will receive a special prize. More information about this matter will be provided on  January 1, 2019.
